The next Business Social is less than 2 weeks away on April 7th at United Rent-All.  United Rent-All is just south of Valley Road and north of Kmart and Wendy's.

We have over 125 attendees at the present time.  Please RSVP by April 4th.  If others from your business will also be attending, they must register individually on this website.  If you haven't sent in your RSVP for this event, please do so as soon as you can so that we can have the event properly catered. 

Hosts Marie and Mike Avolio invite you to attend and to enjoy food and beverages (complimentary beer and wine) from several Hillsborough caterers.  The cocktail hour has be expanded to 1.5 hours from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. The samplings of the culinary delights to be savored are Sesame Chicken Salad from Red Wagon Gourmet, Sausage & Peppers from Bella Pizza and Home Made Chili from Hillsborough Texas Wiener. If the weather stays mild, maybe we'll have ice cream to top it off.

The registration fee will be $10 paid at the door by cash or check.

This is a great opportunity, particularly for newer businesses in Hillsborough, to meet with their fellow business colleagues, the Mayor, Township Committee and other Township officials including those from the business permitting and inspections Departments.

I also encourage all attendees to bring literature and offer door prizes to help promote your business.  *PLEASE* send me an email at gstrupinsky@hillsborough-nj.org if you would like to provide a door prize.

The agenda will include an opportunity for attendees to offer comments/suggestions and to ask questions of Township officials and the EBDC.  Please e-mail your comments/suggestions & questions in advance to Business Advocate Gene Strupinsky(gstrupinsky@hillsborough-nj.org).  Also, please indicate if you wish to remain anonymous.  The questions should have a broad appeal to the attendees and not be focused on a specific business.  A few of the suggested topics could include the effectiveness of the new sign ordinance, the status of Route 206 widening & By-Pass, the proposed train station, new zoning ordinances, and steps being taken by the Township to promote and make Hillsborough more competitive and business friendly.

Don't forget to bring plenty of business cards, arrive early and stay late.  It will be a great evening!
